Description
Yucca aloifolia is a strong, architectural plant known for its upright, sword-like leaves. It can be grown indoors in very bright light, but it performs best outdoors in full sun. This plant is ideal for hot, dry gardens and coastal conditions, and is extremely low-maintenance once established.
Light requirements:
Prefers full sun outdoors. Indoors, place it in the brightest window available.
Watering:
Water every 10–14 days while the plant is young. Once established outdoors, it needs very little water. Reduce watering in winter.
Growth habit:
Slow-growing, eventually forming a thick trunk and branching over time. Leaves are firm and pointed.
